  • To Remove Enzymes that continue working even in the fat state. Dead materials become food for bacteria, yeast, and molds.

  • To Remove Free fatty acids, formed from natural and microbial enzymes, water in oils, heat, alkalis, strong acids, metals

  • To remove Microorganisms, formed by presence of blood, proteins, water. (produces gas, off odors)

  • To remove oxidation components : components that are split, polymerized (cross link), monoglyceride and glycerin form.  Oxidation is measured by the peroxide value.
