• Bleaching is the process of using natural clays to absorb metals, microscopic particles of fatty tissue, blood residues, and other contamination.

• Deodorization is preformed to remove odors, peroxides, free fatty acids, hormones and pesticides. Deodorization is usually done by injecting steam into the heated oil under high vacuum.
